                           An In-depth Interview Guide

This Guide is intended for academic research purposes only. It constitutes a part of

a PhD thesis. It aims at assessing the African Peer Review mechanism )APRM), as

well as the role the African civil society plays therein. It is divided into two main
sections: the first seeks to evaluate the APRM in terms of achieving its objectives,
the most successful models, as well as its weaknesses. )This section consists of
 eight questions(.
The second section seeks to determine the basic roles of the African civil society in
the APRM as well as evaluating these roles. It addresses also its relationship with
the African states and the most important ways to activate its role in the future. )This
 section consists of six questions(.
If you would rather not to answer a question, you may leave it blank; however, the
results of the research would be most beneficial if you would kindly answer all the
 questions.
